AQHA , American Quarter Horse Association Championship Horse Trainer, Alex Yanez of Phoenix, Arizona joins the Windwalker Expeditions Guide Team. A horseman for 40 years, Alex provides some of Arizona’s finest Quarter Horses for our guests’ riding pleasure. As Head Trainer at the Pretty Penny Ranch for 28 years, Alex trained 26 AQHA Finalists in the Halter Horse division. Alex’s champion Quarter Horses include: Scarlett Impressive, State Champion - Pocito Trouble, Mr. Happy Hour and Tuffy.

Alex leads outings to the Black Canyon Trail in the Superstition Wilderness, the Camp Creek Trail, the McDowell Mountains, and the Arizona Trail, Arizona’s National Scenic Trail.
