We had a GREAT time with Dan during the full day photography workshop to Indian Mesa. I am new to photography, but the tips that Dan gave me during the trip created amazing pictures!! My husband and I both enjoyed the drive out to Indian Mesa, the hike, exploring on top of Indian Mesa, and all of the information that Dan gave during the entire trip! We have traveled quite a bit and have done a variety of "excursions" but this is one of the best yet! We highly recommend this trip!!!!!

Hello there from frozen Alberta! Apparently we were the coldest place on Earth on Sunday at -45C. I'm not sure that I believe it but ... brrrr! So I am very much wishing we were back in Arizona. I just wanted to send a quick thank you to Debbie (& Tequila) for the lovely ride she took my husband and I on in the Tonto National Forest. I was very excited to get back on a horse after many years of not riding and I have to say was a little nervous of the talk of climbing "mountains" (being from Alberta and the Rocky Mountains - our definition of mountain is a little different) but we managed just fine. I enjoyed my time very much with Star - her little jumps over the gate were very sweet and she sure is a nice girl to ride. My husband Steve also enjoyed himself immensely and had a great time getting to know Cowboy. Debbie - we went to Harrold's Corral as you suggested - it was great! Thanks again and hope to see you again soon!

Joseph our guide was amazing! Patient, knowledgeable and fun, I can't wait till next ride we do. The horses we rode, Rocha and Levi were beautiful and just as patient as Joseph. I had never done a ride like that before, but being on Rocha, cantering through a desert wash was amazing - like I had gone to heaven.

I called for infomation, and although it cost a bit more than I had planned to spend, I have no regrets! Joseph and Suzie were great. They explained the saddles and bridles and made sure I was comfortable in the saddle. Since I was not comfortable with loping, Joseph went off with the other rider and Suzie led the way in a different direction with me. The scenery was incredible, the horse a dream, and the whole day memorable. This is something I will do again on my next trip west.

Hello from the Scottsdale Princess! Just wanted to share with you the GREAT feedback we received from our guests' after their adventure with you. Thank you for everything - Connie , Scottsdale Princess Concierge 4/11/99 Page 2 To Concierge Staff My wife and I wanted to go horseback riding and I told Gail that although we were not experienced riders, we wanted an "Arizona Experience" (don't know exactly what I meant by that). She arranged a 2-½ hour ride through Windwalker Expeditions. We met at Cave Creek Park. They were already there. Our horses were perfectly suited for our skill level and physiques. Our guide, Joseph, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us up and down trails around Carefree Mountain. It was one of the best times we had on horseback and truly got to enjoy an Arizona Experience on trails where Apache and Calvary ran; where pioneers mined for gold! It was just fabulous. We highly recommend Windwalker to your guests. Brad and Dean Haber - Mount Laurel, New Jersey April 5th 1999

Michele and I would like to thank you for the fantastic riding experience last Saturday morning. As you know, we enjoyed your expertise and the fine quality of your horses, particularly "Blackjack". Personally, it was great to be riding on "real" horses and to ride in a great location. Thank you for your courtesy and your time. You should not hesitate to telephone us if there is another opportunity. I am also available if you need another rider to help explore some new trails. Dear Milton Sorry 'bout being late with these pictures. Can't tell you how much we enjoyed our introduction to the Sonoran Desert. Personally, the openness of it is missing for me now…growing up under Midwestern skies that now cover new housing tracts - well, I'm sure you know what I mean. Everyone in our group had a great time due to you. Once you get the website please let me know. Still trying to figure out how to make time to get back. I don't know about candy but it's been a long time since I've been on a adventure - I felt like I was on a scene from "Indiana Jones". Our gas tip doesn't even come close to showing our appreciation. Thank you both so much, again. P.S. I addressed the envelope to Joseph because I didn't' know if you wanted me to put two different names on the envelope. Dear Milton, I just thought that I'd drop you a little line just to let you know how much I enjoyed my vacation in Arizona, especially the riding. I know that it will provide me with many memories that will last me a lifetime. Everyday I wear the Arrowhead that we found and it has become a true symbol of strength for me. Whenever things aren't going quite right I know that just looking at it reminds me of all the simple beauty and peace that I found on that trip. I've enclosed some pictures of our trip all of which I think turned out excellent! How's Reds training coming along? I'm sure that with some work and TLC he will make an excellent lead horse perhaps even as good as snip one day! I have now fully convinced my parents to let me come down all the next summer, so if you still need a guide I'll be more than happy to help out! Thanks again for all the joy that your trip brought me, and all the simple lessons that you teach us all everyday. All my love to Shelly, Snip and Red, -- from one kindred spirit to the other. Dear Windwalker, On two separate occasions in March 1997, Milton Joseph took us on an educational trip into the desert of Arizona. Both experiences were both pleasant and most informative. Milton's personality is such that we felt comfortable with him, at ease, and certain of his qualifications to impart knowledge of plant and animal desert life to us. His enthusiasm regarding further exploration of the environment was contagious. Our second excursion was one in which he showed us Indian petroglyphs (a real desire of ours). He was proud of his discovery of these rare petroglyphs and we felt fortunate to have seen them. We appreciated, too, his firm desire to impart only authentic information to those of us who were learning. Yours truly, Albert and Florence Sidge

Dear Windwalker, I finally have a chance to let you know that I have received my wallet and all intact. I even got a little more ... wonderful desert sand I am trying so hard not to knock the dirt off of it. It is so special to me. I miss you all and AZ so much. You cannot imagine my grief here in Dallas. I hope to return soon. I was wonder if James would ever do a tour that would include tracking experiences. How to look at and what to look at and for. I was just curious. Does he animal hunt, I would love to hunt the wild stallions and just look at them. Things like that. Maybe this is a special order. Let me know. Tell all "Howdy" from us. Thanks for finding my wallet and sending it so promptly. If you ever need a tour of Dallas ... you got it. Friends, Patricia Golden, February 23rd 2001
