The scenery was beautiful. The weather was perfect that day. We did a morning ride, started in layered attire but within 30 minutes were down to tank tops. My horse was very well behaved. Although I was disappointed as I was hoping to at least trot while we were on flat ground. The guide told me not to do that as he said my friend's horse would do the same thing. So it was pretty much a nose to nose walking ride. If I return to the area I would still choose WWE as it was a memorable experience! Good value for the long ride. Thank you.

I've ridden out west numerous times; however by far this was the best ride I have ever experienced in the Tonto Forest with Todd. Todd was an amazing guide. When I visit Scottsdale again I will for sure request Todd as my guide for another amazing ride with Windwalker Expeditions. It's not your normal head to tail horseback ride. Amazing! I can not say enough good things about our time with Joseph today! It was just me and my 8 y/o daughter, so I was very nervous as neither of us are experienced. I thought my daughter was going to give up 5 min after getting on the horse, but Joseph made her feel comfortable enough to be brave and try. Using the instructions he gave us, we both carefully learned to navigate on a horse. Within 15 min, my daughter was loving life and having SO much fun!! The trails were beautiful and Joseph really made it a fun and memorable experience. If I could give this experience a million stars I would. It was truly an unbelievable morning in the best way possible. THANK YOU!!!

What an amazing trip with Joseph! We’ve ridden all over the US and abroad and rate this trip right up with the best we’ve had. It was a real pleasure riding with Joseph as he is an excellent guide with a warm, friendly spirit. I would recommend Windwalker Expeditions to any horse lover whether they are experienced or not! I was given this wonderful opportunity as a surprise from my boyfriend, Drew. I’ve been a western rider for 50 years and still own a quarter horse, but haven’t had much time in the last few years. This ride was everything an experienced rider could ask for. Deb Creighton is not only a gifted guide , with a wealth of knowledge and experience, but she is truly a sweetheart! She made me feel like we could be good friends, if we lived in the same place. She took me in beautiful areas and the scenery was perfect. Deb and Bill have great riding horses that are well trained and obviously well cared for—which is very important to me. I have had many riding experiences in my life, and this ranks in one of my very top rides. I can highly recommend Deb and Bill. They are professional and friendly and dedicated to providing their clients with a great experience.

WOW ! WOW! WOW!!!! My guide was Clydeia (I hope I spelled that right) Thanks -- I went on a 5 hour ride with her on Saturday (It was supposed to be 4) AWESOME --- I used to ride every weekend in Wisconsin until about 5 years ago and then circumstances happed where I could not - Work brought me to Arizona where I was "stuck" for the weekend - I searched the internet until I found Wind walkers ( A bit expensive- (BUT) I had an experience of a lifetime. I rode in Arizona before - but nothing like the experience I had last weekend --- The horse (Streaker) was great. He was easy to control and had a great temperament. Clyedia knew the flora and fauna of the desert. She also knew the trails and terrain. So, I really felt comfortable riding with her knowing she had a vast knowledge of the desert. She also kept me hydrated by making sure I drank enough water. (It was HOT and I have been used to negative temperatures in Wisconsin this winter). Thanks again In conclusion, The ride and guide was well worth it. I highly recommend Wind walkers for an experience that will be remembered for a lifetime. I don't mean to sound redundant but -- WOW. Excellent! I've been riding all my life, but frequently fall off because I don't like to pay attention to what I'm doing as I'd rather enjoy my surroundings and let the horse handle the rest. Joseph was my guide and he rode Levi. I rode Jasper, what an amazing boy he is! So intelligent, interested in his surroundings and totally in charge of his domain! He gave me the freedom to forget myself and enjoy the Sonoran desert surrounding us. Great horse, excellent spirit and temperament. Levi doesn't like to lead, but Jasper does, so Joseph let me be out in front quite a bit of the trip, which was good for Jasper... I'm used to riding quarter horses, not Arabians.... this was the smoothest, most confident ride I've ever had. I came out of the saddle SEVERAL times running up the hills... Jasper was great... he was so sure of himself, that I had no fear. Can he come home with me?????

My daughter and I had a great time. Deb was a great guide very knowledgeable of the area and of course a great equestrian. My daughter and I will make this a yearly event every March.

Thanks so much Milton! The first afternoon ride shared with my mother will be the highlight of her winter. The second day you and I shared couldn't have been better. Spectacular scenery and intriquing mesa top ruins! I expect to be back to explore the Superstition Mountains. Kevin

WONDERFUL! 6 of us girls from BMO/Harris Bank decided this was going to be our Christmas Party, instead of a boring lunch. It was the best Christmas party I have ever attended. We had Joseph and Claudia as our guides, very entertaining. It was a super time! Thanks so much

During my second visit to the Phoenix and with very little convincing from my mom, we decided to go horseback riding during our vacation. After a little web research I happend upon the Windwalker website and I can't express my excitement to have found a company that will allow you to really ride a horse not just follow the one in front of you. Our guide Barry was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and was able to show us some very beautiful scenery. My mom and both enjoyed ourselves so much that we can't wait to go back again! Thank you so much Barry and Windwalker for such an enjoyable experience.
