To Whom It May Concern,
May I take the opportunity to recommend Windwalker Expeditions from Cave Creek, Arizona.
I have ridden western in Montana, Wyoming and Arizona and have always found it difficult to avoid a nose to tail walk with first time riders. Windwalker caters for the experienced rider and the choice of ride is yours. Whether you prefer a couple of hours cantering along twisting dry river beds on a surface similar to a good menage or an eight hour endurance ride discovering breath taking scenery, animal life (watch out for the rattle snakes) and realizing what a good trail horse can really do.
You can also choose whether you want company or a one to one with your own guide, oozing with southwestern hospitality.
I keep going back year after year to Windwalker and it just keeps getting better.

The Superstition Mountains, the Superstition Loop and the Apache Trail, have been a source of mystery and legend since early
times. The area is dotted with ancient cliff dwellings and caves, many showing
signs of former habitation by a number of different Native American groups, up
until the 1800s. The Superstition Wilderness is supposedly the location of the
Lost Dutchman Gold Mine (that still hasn't been found). With a little luck,
perhaps you will be the first to locate it! The towering mountains provide numerous
photographic opportunities and short hikes will take you to even more remote
areas and amazing scenery. Let our guides reveal the mysteries of these
mountains through the lens of your camera.
